This week's Shop Spotlight is on My Mila Baby, a shop that specializes in modern fashion for babies and children alike.
Based in Canada and owned by the sweetest Mama, My Mila is filled with trendy & timeless pieces that are too good to pass up. I love how classic each piece is because of the black and white fabrics used, and the infinity scarves are out of this world soft. I don't think I've ever come across sweeter baby boots, and from the moment I peeked through Tennille's shop, I was hooked.
Every product she makes is eye-catching and bold but still so sophisticated. Olivia wears her infinity scarf almost every day because it's so light weight and the perfect accessory for every single outfit. In my humble opinion (since you asked for it, right?)...it's truly impossible to go wrong with black+white. Tennille is rocking at what she is doing even though she hasn't even had her shop open a full year! I have been so impressed with her kindness, customer service and of course her products!

"My name is Tennille. I'm 28 years old. I am married to the man of my dreams, who supports everything I do. We have 2 crazy boys. We adopted our oldest, Damian, when he was 1 (now 7). Our youngest, Xavier, is 2. These boys are my drive; everything I work so hard for is for them.
"I worked in the financial industry for six years. The hours were really cutting into my family life so I decided to change the pace and went to school for massage therapy. I loved it so much and thought I had found my calling. After a year of working we got pregnant. I borrowed my mother in-laws sewing machine to re-cover an old rocking chair. After countless nights of watching youtube videos and teaching myself how to sew, I became very passionate about what I was creating. I started making little shoes and tummy mats for friends and family members, then I slowly started selling my creations. I started up a facebook page for custom baby bedding, blankets, canopies, bibs, etc. After 2 wonderful years of custom orders I felt like I was ready to express myself and my own style."
"I started My Mila in January of 2014. I make organic leggings, scarfs, beanies, and of course little boots. I am following dreams I never imagined myself having. I love sewing so much and am so excited that other people want what I have created. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds for me and this little company. I will be revealing my fall line in September and am pushing to become a ready to ship shop!"
what sets my mila baby apart || I love how clean and crisp each piece is because of the black and white style; the patterns are modern -- crosses, triangles, squares, stripes, etc. -- and because of that, they will never go out of style; for me, the timelessness of the design is what sets this shop apart.
my favorite products || all of the boots are so darling it was hard to choose my favorite; I also love the leopard print infinity scarf and think that is a must-have for winter!
quality + craftsmanship || The fabrics used are of such high quality and Tennille has perfected her design and execution. As I had said earlier, the scarf is so cozy and soft, and the boots are sturdy but comfortable on Olivia's little feet! I am
overall opinion || I can't get enough of the black and white goodness that My Mila Baby offers! I also love how gender neutral many of her pieces are, making them perfect for gift-giving before the gender is revealed! Every little's closet should have at least one piece from this shop because it will work through all seasons for both little ladies and little gents!
value + recommendation || I have had such a blast getting to know the beautiful Mama of two and learning more about her story and journey to opening her shop. I am so impressed with her products and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stylish piece for year-round wear to add to your babe's wardrobe!
